PLUG-IN WITH PERFECT IMPEDANCE
New cables added to TV One's Z-Plus family
ERLANGER, KY, February 11, 2005--Designed expressly for high-end, professional AV and broadcast applications, TV One's line of Z-Plus cables now includes DVI and HDMI offerings in lengths ranging from three to 60 feet. Precision assembled using the same exacting standards set for every item within the Z-Plus catalog, the new DVI and HDMI cables are UL-listed and feature “perfect impedance” connectors.
Offered in dual-link, male-to-male configurations up to 60 feet long, the Z-Plus DVI high-definition cables use 24-gauge wire instead of the 28-gauge wire found in other DVI cables, thereby allowing signals to travel farther. Outfitted with ferrites on both ends, the cables additionally feature precision-molded nickel-plated connectors with gold-plated pins, and are CL-2 rated.
Available in premium lengths of up to 25 feet, the HDMI-to-HDMI cables just added to the Z-Plus family incorporate precision-molded nickel-plated connectors with gold pins and UL2076 cable. Like all other Z-Plus cables, they are subjected to random sweep testing to insure the highest quality possible.
Twelve different cable types comprise the Z-Plus line, made for wide-ranging applications including everything from component and S-Video to composite video, FireWire, stereo, and optical audio. Widely known for its superior performance over long distances, the product group initially won hearts and minds when it was launched in 2003 with selections like its HD15-to-HD15 cables, which include VGA assemblies containing five coaxial cables instead of just three, a design that provides a pair of extra coaxes for horizontal and vertical sync pulses instead of routing them through single conductor wires.
Far exceeding the quality of traditional cables, Z-Plus cables come in three grades: Z-Plus, Premium, and Hi-Grade. Now shipping around the globe, the entire line can be seen at NSCA in booth #137.
