TV One-Task to the HD/PC Cross Conversion Rescue

TV One-task is introducing the 1T-C2-400 PC/HD Scaler that does cross conversion between the growing list of PC and HD resolutions

Erlanger, KY , May 10, 2007—The long list of PC and HD resolutions keeps growing, so TV One-task decided to end the problem by introducing the 1T-C2-400 HD/PC scaler. Based on TV One’s exclusive CORIO2® technology, the 1T-C2-400 cross converts between virtually any PC resolution up to 2048x2048 and any HDTV resolution up to 1080p on both the input and output.

The 1T-C2400 features a single RGB/YPbPr input and a single RGB/YPbPr output. Simplistic in design the 1T-C2-400 has a home in numerous Pro AV and Corporate applications. One such application is in a boardroom or educational environment were people are using widescreen laptops and connecting to a projector. The 1T-C2-400 automatically detects the incoming resolution and is able to cross convert it to the appropriate projectors resolution. Then our exclusive AutoSet® feature automatically sizes and positions the computer image to fit exactly on the video screen.

All settings are stored in non-volatile memory and are retained even when power is switched off. Variable Zoom can go up to 10x allowing any part of the computer screen to be enlarged while Variable Shrink can go down to 10 percent. Position controls allow movement around any desired area. Full bandwidth chroma sampling replicates high resolution colors.

The 1T-C2-400 is controlled by the front panel Push Buttons, an Infrared Remote Control Unit or an RS-232 connection. A Windows Control Panel is provided and most third party control systems interface directly with the entire C2 range of products. An On-Screen Display is available to assist in setup. It is housed in a compact desktop case and a single/dual rackmount kit is available as an option.

The suggested retail price for the 1T-C2-400 is $795, and it will start shipping late May.
