TV One Releases Powerful, Inexpensive Seamless Switchers and Scalers
TV One has made the impossible possible by developing the new C2-1000 series, offering high-powered features at an unthinkable price.
ERLANGER, KY, May 17, 2006—TV One has done it again, created user-friendly seamless switchers and scalers that incorporate the award-winning CORIO2 technology. The new C2-1000 series has five new pieces that are feature laden and flexible giving the customer exactly what they need with a price anyone can afford. The five new units range from $1,295 to $2,295 and consist of two Down Converters, two Up Converters and a Universal Scaler.
The C2-1000 series has features common to the more expensive, higher-powered video processors on the market thanks to the highly-developed CORIO2 technology. Available features for the C2-1000 series include Picture-in-Picture, Chroma and Luma Keying, Genlock and Audio Switching. There are also up to four input and outputs of Composite, S-Video, YUV Component and YPbPr Component. The unit can be controlled with an IR or RS-232 remote, third party control systems or via the Windows Control Software which is included.
Unique features of the C2-1000 line include input expansion modules which enable multiple additional outputs. Like its’ more expensive relatives the C2-7000 and C2-5000, the C2-1000 series is Firmware based making upgrades free and easy. There is also a single or dual rack mount option available so it will fit in any space.
Technical features of the C2-1000 line include inputs that are HDTV or PC ready. The maximum input PC resolution is 2048 x 2048 while all of the HDTV resolutions are up to 1080i. Picture alignment is no issue for this series since it uses the Exclusive AutoSet™ which does it automatically. The Chroma Sampling is 4:4:4 for precise color rendition and keying. The digital sampling rate is 108MHz for pixel level clarity. It also uses a Digital Video Encoder for better signal quality. The C2-1000 series also has greater enhanced zoom, shrink and smoothing adding quality to any piece.
